The Essence Fine Art and Literary was founded at Kutztown University in 1960. Our aim is to provide a space for student artists, poets, and communication designers to collaborate in the production of a professional grade publication. Our team of student designers work with our advisors to produce an issue each academic year, and have since our first publication in 1960.
